Exhaust Options - Street Turbo
The Turbo Exhaust pipe on the left comes with the Street Turbo Kit and is used for circumstances where it is illegal to not have an exhaust or if the rider might be doing a larger volume of touring. With the stock turbo street exhaust this pipe goes under the motor and can be fitted with a 3" to 2.5" reduction adapter, to standard pipe, to slip-on. We love the Brocks Alien-head and carry these in stock. The pipe on the right is a standard side dump, but rather than two pipe dump, is a single pipe with the BOV dumping straight into the main pipe as shown. Fairing has to be cut accordingly.
Enrichment Controller only controls the additional injectors located in the plenum. Comes with the Hayabusa Gen1 and GSX1400 Turbo Kits which provides 4 additional injectors and fuel rail. Enrichment Controller distributes additional fuel according to pre-given values. It reads boost pressure and engine revolutions and gives extra fuel accordingly.
Some General Details:
Turbo Street kit actuator is always set to 0.7bar boost. It cannot be reduced, but it can be increased by adjusting the actuator rod to make it shorter. Race kit has an external wastegate, its basic setting is 0.5bar boost. It can be increased by changing a different spring. Comes with three different springs.
Proboost Hayabusa Gen2 ECU fuel map is up to 1.5bar boost, however it has been set to an overboost limit 1.0bar in the v15.bin program. The ECU has two different fuel maps, it uses both. There is a basic map and additionally a boost fuel map, it automatically increases fuel as the boost pressure increases.
Hayabusa Gen1 ECU does not need to be reprogrammed. Gen1 turbo kit includes additional injectors in the plenum, as well as Proboost injectors driver box. It reads boost pressure and adjusts additional fuel.
HX35 kit is for those who want to upgrade their Street kit to be more efficient. However, it requires bigger injectors and fuel pump and rise rate fuel regulator. The engine also would need pistons, rods , different oil cooler and lock up clutch providing upto 500rwhp.
