And secondly, the bike stock engine is low compression at 9.5:1 meaning it's ideal for a turbo. With the Bandit unlike almost all other bikes, the engine does not have to come out to lower the compression for the turbo. With the Bandit, the turbo just bolts on. Once on, its a dream come true for power seekers. This bike will spin the rear tire on the highway in 5th gear, but don't let that alarm you, it's power, you learn to feather that power that comes on at 5000rpm.
